Case Western Reserve Rallies To Beat #24 Ithaca

Macario Alvarez recorded his first pin of the year
Williamsport, Pa. -- The #24 Bombers dropped their second match of the day at Lycoming’s Budd Whitehill National Duals, falling 22-21 to Case Western Reserve. Ithaca won three straight bouts to carry a 21-16 lead into the final match but the Tartans' heavyweight recorded a pin with just 10 seconds left to clinch Case Western's win.

Ithaca will face Wisconsin-Whitewater in a consolation match at 7 p.m. Friday.
